style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><strong>Instructor & Specialist:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collaborate and/or co-teach with classroom teachers and librarians to seamlessly integrate information and technology skills into current units of study and classroom curriculum.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist teachers in designing universally accessible teaching experiences in which students leverage technology to solve problems, interpret and analyze information, practice new skills, and create products of learning.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consult with general and special education teachers on appropriate technology tools and environments that embed student technology literacy skills with curriculum goals, student learning expectations, and specific learning needs.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support and coach teacher use of technology in the classroom</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide professional development to staff through courses, workshops, and demonstration lessons that incorporate new and emerging technologies.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide education and guidance for students and staff regarding digital citizenship and the district's responsible use policies.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participate as an active member of the school and district instructional technology teams and the Media & Digital Learning Department</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Model ways in which technology can help to promote effective and emerging teaching and learning practices.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teach technology classes, as assigned</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Technical Advisor</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collaborate with district staff on technology initiatives, and planning for maintenance, supplies, hardware, and software needs.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide technical support and comprehensive training on educational technology and the Learning Management System (LMS) for teachers, students and staff to ensure effective school-wide implementation.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consult on future technology needs with the Director of Instructional Technology and Innovation, the district-wide Technology Integration Specialist team, the building principal, administrative leadership teams, and teaching staff</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Technology Learner</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participate in workshops, seminars, and courses to learn about technology innovations, changes, and updates with a keen eye toward emerging technologies</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participate in local, state, and national associations that provide experiences with new technologies.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participate in technology-related activities that foster personal growth and maintain a current knowledge base.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Engage with new digital tools and technologies and learn to use them and teach others how to use them through tutorials, self-paced exploration, and practice.&nbsp;</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br /><br /></p>\r\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Current Massachusetts DESE license for K-12 Technology Integration Specialist or DLCS Pre K-6 License</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Elementary classroom teaching experience (at least 3-5 years) strongly preferred.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instructional coaching (technology or other area) experience&nbsp;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Demonstrated experience using instructional technology tools and resources is required, with experience using Apple&nbsp;hardware and software/operating systems&nbsp;(MacOS, iPadOS, iOS), Google Workspace for Education, and Instructure platforms (Canvas LMS, Mastery
