{"success":true,"message":"","validationErrors":[],"value":{"jobInfo":{"jobId":5524788,"jobTitle":"2026-27 ELL Testing Clerk II - Assessment - REVISED","infoURL":"https://pvusd.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=28220","externalJobCode":"28220","applicationDeadline":null,"displayDate":"2026-03-16T06:00:00","internalDisplayDate":null,"postDate":"2026-02-04T20:59:08","startDateShowDay":1,"startDate":"2026-07-07T06:00:00","jobStatusID":30,"unionID":0,"unionName":null,"jobDescription":"<p><strong>ELL Testing Clerk II</strong></p>\r\n<p><strong>Location: Assessment</strong></p>\r\n<p><strong>10 months,&nbsp;2 hours per day&nbsp;</strong></p>\r\n<p><strong>Grade 13, $15.44 per hour</strong></p>\r\n<p><strong>Non Interim Position</strong></p>\r\n<p><strong>Date: 7/7/2026 - 6/4/2027</strong></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><strong>Purpose Statement</strong></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The job of ELL Testing Clerk II is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for assisting in the assessment of students' English language acquisition from their native language; administering tests; performing clerical tasks related to program placement and serving as a resource to other&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">personnel requiring assistance with non-English speaking persons.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This job reports to the Director of Assessment</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Administers the state language assessment and all other tests related to language proficiency test results to coordinate the assessments of PHLOTE and ELL students.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attends required school, district meetings and AZELLA training for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Completes documents related to the scoring and reporting of language proficiency test results to provide accurate documentation in compliance with current regulations.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinates testing of individual students and/or groups of students in English and Spanish for the purpose of using the district language proficiency assessments at all schools within the district (travel to all schools required).</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepares, reviews and keeps current student data files (e.g., creates ELL folder for all ELL home language surveys, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring compliance with district, state and federal regulations.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scores assessments, verifies data and data entry for the purpose of providing information to other staff to determine appropriate student placement and/or referral.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supports other testing clerks and SEI teachers for the purpose of providing information, guidance and training on testing protocol and reporting procedures.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Completes documents related to student program placement.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><strong>Other Functions</strong></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><strong>Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\r\n<p><strong>Skills, Knowledge and Abilities</strong></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SKILLS are required to perform multiple tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: translating written documents; operating standard office equipment using pertinent software applications; preparing and maintaining accurate records.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">KNOWLEDGE is required to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percents, and/or ratios; read a variety of manuals, write documents following prescribed formats, and/or present information to others; and understand complex, multi-step written and oral instructions. Generally, the job requires 60% sitting, 20% walking, and 20% standing.
