This position also implements the campus testing program.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minimum of three years teaching experience, including experience teaching in a Special Education setting with diverse learning needs; Experience with ESPED and/or other computer-based documentation system preferred.&nbsp;Campus Testing Experience preferred.</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4-8 Generalist, ESL&nbsp; and SPED Certification preferred.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><strong>Major Responsibilities</strong></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><strong>ARD Facilitation</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Schedules, or assists in scheduling, Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and notifies parents of the ARD meeting, including distribution of ARD calendar to appropriate ARD Committee members in a timely fashion; ensures that IEP elements are completed; notifies all appropriate school personnel of ARD meetings/ARD schedule</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensures that federal/state timelines are met with respect to functions of ARD Committee meetings; requests for additional assessments and required timelines set by ARD</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monitors ARD paperwork completed by campus personnel; completes and turns in ARD paperwork to official audit file within 72 hours of the meeting; turns in PEIMS information to campus registrar within 48 hours of the ARD</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Completes lists, forms, reports, PEIMS forms, and data required by the Special Education Office by due dates (e.g., transportation forms, EYS forms, October counts, etc).</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintains current state assessment test lists; referral lists, and referrals for related services evaluation; maintains communication among assessment, service providers, and related services</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provides for systematic communication among special and general education personnel (with respect to ARD meetings and decisions, IEPs, accommodations needed in the general education setting, relevant instructional concerns and progress).</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Completes applicable ARD supplements with accompanying data collected by campus staff (i.e., EYS regression data, all IEPs, BIPs, ).</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Follows end of year procedures for folder exchanges, summer testing,</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assists campus administrator(s) to ensure compliance with mandates for due process guaranteed to students with disabilities by state/federal law; ensures compliance with local policies and procedures outlined for this</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintains thorough documentation regarding any significant problems with ARD Committee procedures; attends Special Education Department staff meetings; attends relevant professional development.&nbsp;</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Campus Testing Facilitation</strong></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deliver training for campus staff to ensure integrity of the testing system and that all procedures are followed.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enforce and monitor procedures for ensuring security and confidentiality of state-mandated testing programs and other assessments. Oversee test implementation at the campus level and monitor testing activities to ensure that procedures are followed and deadlines met.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consult with staff to provide appropriate testing accommodations for Limited English Proficient (LEP) students and students receiving special services.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Identify, investigate, and address testing irregularities.&nbsp; Report discrepancies to district staff.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Develop and distribute statistical studies, analysis and evaluation reports as required for the campus.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monitor districtwide procedures for record keeping, reporting, and inventory to ensure integrity of testing process and data.
