{"success":true,"message":"","validationErrors":[],"value":{"jobInfo":{"jobId":5653077,"jobTitle":"Computer Science","infoURL":"","externalJobCode":null,"applicationDeadline":null,"displayDate":"2026-04-17T00:00:00","internalDisplayDate":null,"postDate":"2026-04-17T00:00:00","startDateShowDay":0,"startDate":null,"jobStatusID":30,"unionID":0,"unionName":null,"jobDescription":"Position: Computer Science Teacher (9-12) (Job may include coaching duties)\r\n\r\nJob Status: Full-Time/ 190 days\r\n\r\nClassification: Certified\r\n\r\nClass: Exempt\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nJob Description:\r\n\r\nProvide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nDuties and Responsibilities:\r\n\r\nMaintain professional behavior, appearance, and work ethic to represent the school district in a positive manner at all times.\r\nDemonstrate relentless commitment to academic achievement of all students.\r\nEstablish and maintain an orderly classroom environment in which students actively participate.\r\nDevelop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the district’s curriculum program.\r\nPrepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles.\r\nPlan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students.\r\nConduct assessment of student learning styles and use results to plan instructional activities.\r\nWork cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curricula as needed for special education students according to guidelines established in Individual Education Plans (IEP).\r\nWork with other members of staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements.\r\nPlan and supervise assignments of instructional assistant(s) and volunteer(s).\r\nUse technology to strengthen the teaching and learning process.\r\nConduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through interim and formative assessments.\r\nAssume responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned. Noise levels are mostly low to moderate. This position is cognitively demanding and requires especially well-developed professional social skills and communication skills.
