Relocate computer hardware, peripherals, and equipment as needed.</li>\r\n<li>Provide technical assistance to users of computers, instructional equipment, and software.</li>\r\n<li>Install and configure application and operating system software and upgrades.</li>\r\n<li>Assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of data communications circuits and equipment.</li>\r\n<li>Assist with the organization and distribution of technology-based material for classroom use.</li>\r\n</ol>\r\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Equipment Repair and Maintenance</span></h2>\r\n<ol start=\"6\">\r\n<li>Diagnose and repair network connectivity and hardware issues, including printers, terminals, and personal computers.</li>\r\n<li>Remove old equipment and perform data migration to new machines.</li>\r\n<li>Service equipment according to established preventive maintenance schedule. Maintain accurate updated records of preventive maintenance.</li>\r\n</ol>\r\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Inventory</span></h2>\r\n<ol start=\"9\">\r\n<li>Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software, and other equipment and material at assigned site(s).</li>\r\n<li>Identify, request, and control the inventory of repair parts.</li>\r\n</ol>\r\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Other</span></h2>\r\n<ol start=\"11\">\r\n<li>Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents.</li>\r\n<li>Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately.</li>\r\n<li>Maintain confidentiality.</li>\r\n<li>Participate in staff development training programs to improve job performance.</li>\r\n<li>Participate in meetings and special events as assigned.</li>\r\n<li>Exercise professional judgment in absences; be punctual to work, meetings, and appointments.</li>\r\n<li>Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy.</li>\r\n<li>Comply with all district and campus routines and regulations.</li>\r\n<li>Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.</li>\r\n<li>Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.</li>\r\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.</li>\r\n</ol>\r\n<h1><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Supervisory Responsibilities:</span></h1>\r\n<p>None.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong><u>Equipment Used:</u></strong></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>Computer, telephone, printer, copier, fax machine and calculator. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to prolonged sitting and standing; regular kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting, Repetitive hand motion; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; regular walking, grasping/squeezing, wrist flexion/extension, reaching; may climb ladders. Moderate lifting and carrying (up to 44 pounds); occasional heavy lifting (45 pounds and over). Exposure to electrical hazards; occasional prolonged and irregular hours; frequent districtwide travel; May be required to be on-call 24 hours a day.
