Specific knowledge based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: computer hardware and software, utilizing drills and saws.</p>\r\n<p>SKILLS are required to perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating equipment required by profession or trade; utilizing pertinent computer applications; and planning and managing projects.</p>\r\n<p>ABILITY is required to schedule activities and/or meetings; gather, collate, and/or classify data; and consider a wide variety of factors when using equipment. Flexibility is required to independently work with others in a wide variety of circumstances; work with data utilizing defined but different processes; and utilize equipment under a variety of conditions for multiple purposes. Ability is also required to work with a diversity of individuals and/or groups; work with a variety of data; and utilize a wide variety of types of job-related equipment. Independent problem solving is required to analyze issues and create action plans. Problem solving with data requires analysis based on organizational objectives; and problem solving with equipment is significant. Specific ability based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: adapting to changing work environment and/or priorities; adhering to safety practices; working with constant and sustained interruptions; working within time constraints and occasional evening and weekend hours; adhering to district policies; and regular attendance except when taking approved leave.</p>\r\n<p><strong>Responsibility</strong></p>\r\n<p>Responsibilities include: working independently under broad organizational guidelines to achieve unit objectives; providing information and/or advising others; operating within a defined budget. Utilization of some resources from other work units is often required to perform the job's functions. There is a continual opportunity to significantly impact the organization&rsquo;s services.</p>\r\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\r\n<p>The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 45% sitting, 40% walking, and 15% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a clean atmosphere.</p>\r\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\r\n<p>Job related experience within specialized field with increasing levels of responsibility is required in Job-related experience in human and community relations preferred.
