Assist with laptop maintenance, imaging, etching, and testing. The Summer Technical Support will work with departments and schools within the district.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>COMMITMENT TO EQUITY:</strong></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><em>The Bellevue School District is committed to a diverse workforce representative of our students, one that embraces and models cultural competency as an international community.</em></p>\r\n<p><em>&nbsp;</em></p>\r\n<p><strong>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong>(These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Work in one or more of the following areas, as required:</li>\r\n<li>Assist with installation and repair work on Technology Department equipment;</li>\r\n<li>Setting up computers, printers, and preparing laptops for the next school year;</li>\r\n<li>Work will take place in various locations at schools and central offices.</li>\r\n<li>Performing one or more of the following, as required:</li>\r\n<li>Laptop setup, repair, and imaging;</li>\r\n<li>Computer and printer installation;</li>\r\n<li>Load/unload materials, supplies, and equipment;</li>\r\n<li>Operate simple power equipment and tools;</li>\r\n<li>Perform other related work as required.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Reports directly to and is supervised by the Technology Field Supervisor.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>LICENSING REQUIREMENTS </strong>(positions in this class typically require):</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Possess a valid Washington State Driver&rsquo;s license (preferred).</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE </strong>(position requirements at entry):</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Basic laptop operation and Windows 8 and 10 controls and commands;</li>\r\n<li>Experience in working with laptop and desktop computers preferred;</li>\r\n<li>Common methods, practices and materials used in a technical environment and the use and care of appropriate tools as needed.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>SKILLS </strong>(position requirements at entry):</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Ability to have excellent attention to detail and can follow detailed instructions.</li>\r\n<li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs independently and over 40 lbs with assistance;</li>\r\n<li>Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions;</li>\r\n<li>Ability to work as part of a cooperative effort;</li>\r\n<li>Ability to perform all duties in accordance with applicable Board policies and district and legal requirements;</li>\r\n<li>Ability to meet and maintain punctuality and attendance expectations.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>Positions in this class typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. This position may be exposed to prolonged exposure to visual display terminals as required.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, odors, chemicals, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, and intense noises.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:</strong></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>This is a temporary hourly position at an hourly rate of $ 18.00, June 29, 2026 until August 28, 2026, up to 8 hours/day, 7:30am &ndash; 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
