Must possess a working knowledge of Windows 11: ZEN; Ethernet (IO Base T) switched networks, TCIP/IP address and routing.&nbsp; Advanced troubleshooting and configuration knowledge of microcomputers in a networked environment required.&nbsp; Requires two (2) years of customer service experience.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Responsible for providing technical support in the form of installation, maintenance, and repair of the school division's computers, servers, networking devices, software, and all other technology related equipment.</li>\r\n<li>Provides technical support, consultation, and troubleshooting for all district users including teachers, staff, students, and other district staff on the implementation of technology.</li>\r\n<li>Analyzes, designs, proposes, installs and documents network installation and change activity at assigned site(s).</li>\r\n<li>Performs and/or assists in problem determination and resolution activities to include troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of often complex software and hardware problems involving LAN, WAN, and VoIP connectivity.</li>\r\n<li>Provides input and assists in the coordination of site installations relating to computer systems and other technological peripherals, including software.</li>\r\n<li>Maintains and modifies computer software programs such as operating systems, communications software, utility programs and software patches/fixes, etc.</li>\r\n<li>Responsible for coordinating new equipment installations, network changes, and similar technical requirements with district level staff.</li>\r\n<li>Coordinates networking upgrades and changes in other technology at assigned site(s).</li>\r\n<li>Serves as a liaison between the Network Services Department and the schools regarding technology requirements and the communication of information and standards.</li>\r\n<li>Troubleshoots complex problems requiring specialized expertise.</li>\r\n<li>Utilizes specialized tools to diagnose and repair microcomputer and peripheral systems; to include utilizing appropriate safety equipment in the performance of duties.</li>\r\n<li>Performs configuration, testing and debugging of new hardware and software and other related technologies.</li>\r\n<li>Possess excellent communication, customer service, technical and professional skills;</li>\r\n<li>Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and solve complex problems in a timely manner.</li>\r\n<li>Ability to work independently and without constant direct supervision.</li>\r\n<li>Ability to properly develop and maintain accurate documentation.</li>\r\n<li>Ability to make presentations or explain technical concepts to non-technical professionals.</li>\r\n<li>Ability to occasionally drive; stand; walk; climb; balance; bend; stoop; kneel; twist/turn; push/pull up to fifty (50) pounds; lift/move up to twenty (20) pounds for at least 35 feet.</li>\r\n<li>Installs and maintains application software and user email accounts.</li>\r\n<li>Troubleshoots, identifies, and resolves problems associated with application software and user/mail accounts as needed by district staff.</li>\r\n<li>Sets up and configures hardware and installs new software on school computers.</li>\r\n<li>Substitutes for engineers during long term absences;
