academic, social, and behavioral needs.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Provides behavioral, instructional, vocational and developmental assistance to students who are determined by the site Administration, Behavior Coach, Social Worker or other certified professional to need intervention and/or support.</li>\r\n<li>Applies basic practices of effective behavioral management, and assists in the teaching of problem solving skills to students as prescribed by the supervising&nbsp;Administration, Behavior Coach, Social Worker.</li>\r\n<li>Assists with behavior management programs including monitoring and charting behaviors specific to individual behavior plans.</li>\r\n<li>Provides assistance in the learning area in dealing with behavioral issues by following Non-Violent Crisis Intervention techniques to students with aggressive behavior and restraining violent students who present an imminent danger to safety of self or others as needed.</li>\r\n<li>Maintains all aspects and provisions of confidentiality related to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).</li>\r\n<li>Assists the teacher in implementing the Response to Intervention plan (RTI) or&nbsp;Individualized Education Program (IEP).</li>\r\n<li>Serves as a floater to various learning areas to assist in maintaining appropriate behaviors; responds to all crisis calls, assesses the situation, and follows through accordingly.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Maintains accurate and complete records of student activities and behavior which may require the use of a computer terminal to enter student information and data; completes applicable forms, schedules and instructional reports as directed.</li>\r\n<li>Assists in the preparation of lesson plans, behavior modification plans, and behavior coach or social worker&rsquo;s pre-planning sessions; provides input and assistance in the development of learning activities; prepares or assists in the preparation of instructional and vocational materials.</li>\r\n<li>Attends district professional development classes.</li>\r\n<li>Participates in the Medicaid reimbursement program which includes maintaining logs on students and attending scheduled training when needed.</li>\r\n<li>Assists students with activities of daily living, to include hygiene and toileting.</li>\r\n<li>Establishes and maintains good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.</li>\r\n<li>Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.</li>\r\n<li>Other job related duties as assigned.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: </strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>High school diploma or G.E.D.</li>\r\n<li>AA degree OR 60 college credit hours OR successful completion of&nbsp;Dysart approved exam.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Obtain&nbsp;and maintain First Aid/CPR certification from an accredited agency (must be in person certification;
