Position: Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Coordinator (26-27 SY)

Position Summary:
\r\nUnder the direction of the Executive Director of Teaching & Learning, the MTSS Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, and support of MTSS across the district. The coordinator leads all planning, review, implementation, and professional development for academic and behavior intervention systems utilizing the multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) in alignment with the district’s mission and vision. The coordinator works in conjunction with school-level student support staff to ensure the consistent implementation of MTSS processes across schools, K-12. The coordinator coaches classroom teachers, administrators, and student support team members in the implementation of tiered levels of support. The coordinator is an instrumental part of the MICIP process in the district.

\r\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, hear (in a quiet or noisy environment). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust/focus.

Work Environment:
\r\nThe noise level in the work environment is usually loud to moderate. Work is performed indoors, although there will be required outdoor activities. The employee is directly responsible for the safety, well-being, and work output of students.
