The coordinator works closely with educators, administrators, and students to enhance the educational experience through technology integration and the district&rsquo;s learning management system, Canvas. This role requires technical expertise, pedagogical knowledge, the ability to communicate with multiple groups of people, and a passion for improving education outcomes.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications: </strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">A bachelor's degree in education, instructional technology, or a related field.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Proficiency with various educational technology tools, software, and learning management systems.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with educators and students.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technology-related challenges.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Analytical skills for data analysis and assessment of technology integration.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to educational technology and data privacy.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Demonstrated ability to provide professional learning opportunities in a positive manner.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions: </strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Technology Integration: Collaborate with teachers and administrators to identify opportunities for integrating technology into the curriculum and instructional practices.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Training and Professional Development: Provide training and professional development sessions for educators on the implementation of educational technology tools and platforms, ensuring they are proficient in using these tools effectively.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Curriculum Support: Assist in developing technology-enhanced lesson plans and curriculum materials that align with educational standards and goals, fostering innovative and engaging learning experiences.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Digital Resource Management and On-Boarding: Curate and manage a repository of digital resources, including digital curriculum platforms, educational software, apps, and online content, to support instructional objectives.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Evaluate and Recommend Technology Solutions: Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate technology solutions and tools that align with educational objectives, considering budget constraints and scalability. In addition, assist with evaluating digital curricular resources during curricular reviews.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Data Analysis: Analyze data related to technology usage and its impact on student performance and learning outcomes, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Technology Department Staff, Instruction Office, curriculum specialists, and administrators, to ensure seamless technology integration across the institution.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Learning Management System Maintenance: Ensure that Canvas and Google Classroom, the district&rsquo;s Learning Management Systems, are maintained, accessible, and support is provided for all users. Ability to work with outside company representatives to provide seamless support to end-users in the district.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in educational technology and instructional design, and share this knowledge with colleagues.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Accessibility and Inclusivity: Advocate for and ensure that educational technology is accessible and inclusive for all students, including those with diverse learning needs.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements: </strong></p>\r\n<p>The physical demands described herein are representative of those that employee must meet to successfully perform the functions of this position. The employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for long periods. The employee is also required to move about the building and required to open and close filing cabinets, operate office equipment and computers. The employee may travel to remote locations including other district buildings.
