EOE.</span></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The Development Database Manager is a key member of the Alumni Relations and Development team, providing data expertise and ensuring the accuracy, integrity and security of financial and biographical information in the School&rsquo;s database.&nbsp; In addition, this role processes gift transactions and develops queries and reports that support the full scope of the department&rsquo;s work, from departmental leadership to Alumni Relations, Annual Giving, Donor Relations and Planned Giving.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Oversee and manage gift entry process and perform regular and ongoing financial reconciliation with the Business Office</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Work collaboratively with team members to maximize efficient use of the database to support data analysis, donor stewardship, event invitations, solicitations, and other targeted outreach efforts</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Document and implement departmental best practices around data entry, security, and privacy, and ensure compliance for all procedures</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Maintain database integrity through regular data audits</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Develop monthly comparative and projection reports to track fundraising progress for Annual Giving, including reunion class gifts and major gifts</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Perform prospect research to assist major gift fundraising efforts</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Assist team members as needed with event planning and execution</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Manage data needs for annual donor recognition</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Train current and new users in database usage and provide technical support</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Provide support for the Marketing & Communications team in generating mail lists and maintaining NCOA address updates</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Serve as a liaison to the School&rsquo;s IT Department as related to Veracross</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the School&rsquo;s discretion</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">3-5 years previous experience in nonprofit fundraising is mandatory</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Proficiency with fundraising CRM (such as Veracross or Blackbaud&rsquo;s Raiser&rsquo;s Edge)</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Strong knowledge of best practices for gift entry across various gifting scenarios</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, required; experience with iWave and LexisNexis preferred</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Very high level of accuracy and thoroughness with regard to data entry</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Well-organized and self-directed, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The ability to work effectively in a team including problem resolution, willingness to find new solutions, and sharing ideas in a constructive manner</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">College degree or equivalent educational experience</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends at key times of the year</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;<strong>OTHER INFORMATION</strong>&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Employment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal history and background check.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">This is an on-campus, in-person position.
