This position is responsible for providing EMIS contracted services to META school districts.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Responsible for assisting contracted districts with the collection and reporting of district data to the Ohio Education Management Information System (EMIS) in a timely manner</li>\r\n<li>Assist districts in analysis of EMIS data, and communicate to contracted district staff how to correct errors with staff and student data</li>\r\n<li>Process EMIS data in ProgressBook and in the Data Collector as well as troubleshoot information in ODDEX</li>\r\n<li>Submit Helpdesk tickets to DEW on behalf of contracted districts</li>\r\n<li>Provide EMIS training to contracted districts as needed</li>\r\n<li>Attend conference calls, webinars, and meetings regarding EMIS and monitor changes in the regulations that govern data collection. Disseminate this information to contracted districts.</li>\r\n<li>Develop documentation and processes to make EMIS reporting more efficient and accurate for contracted districts</li>\r\n<li>Maintain confidentiality with sensitive staff and student data. Maintain adherence to the Family Education Rights Privacy Act (FERPA) at all times</li>\r\n<li>Perform any and all other duties as assigned</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Associates degree or higher or equivalent work history</li>\r\n<li>High degree of proficiency in EMIS, ODDEX, SSID/IBM, OEDs, FFE, Report Portal/SDC, Zoom, and other related systems</li>\r\n<li>Must maintain valid driver&rsquo;s license and an acceptable driving record for insurance coverage (travel to meetings and conferences may be required)</li>\r\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral communications</li>\r\n<li>Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff members and districts</li>\r\n<li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all customers and stakeholders</li>\r\n<li>Ability to react productively to frequent interruptions and changing conditions</li>\r\n<li>Ability to accurately discern detail in written, statistical, and tabular materials</li>\r\n<li>Ability to set priorities, organize and complete duties efficiently without supervision</li>\r\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively and to learn new technologies and skills</li>\r\n<li>Ability to analyze, investigate, and guide district staff to accurately report EMIS data</li>\r\n<li>Any SIS experience preferred: PowerSchool, ProgressBook, or Infinite Campus</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n</li>\r\n</ul>","jobTypeName":"Full-time","positions":1,"payDisplay":0,"payMin":0,"payMax":0,"payTypeName":"","employerID":103733,"employerTypeID":70,"employerName":"Metropolitan Educational Technology Association (META)","employerDescription":"META Solutions strives to increase support for core services, offer new instructional and purchasing options, augment our technology infrastructure, and enhance our overall ability to serve school districts and public organizations across the state of Ohio.
