Strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently are essential.</span></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>DESCRIPTION</strong></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The</span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Information Technology Specialist is responsible for maintaining the school division&rsquo;s technology infrastructure, including the installation, repair, and upkeep of computer systems, software, and peripheral devices. The position ensures technology systems are operational to support both instructional and administrative functions. This role involves sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods, frequent lifting and transporting of equipment (up to 50 lbs), and requires regular travel between sites. The role demands flexibility to respond to urgent technical issues and strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple service requests efficiently.
