The position also directs the planning, procurement, deployment, repair, and lifecycle asset management of district equipment, as well as management of associated budgets and contracts. The Assistant Director partners with school and department leadership to ensure instructional and operational needs are being met and align support with district goals, compliance requirements, and best practices.&nbsp;The position also contributes to the development of policies, procedures, and operational standards and knowledgebase documentation to support efficient and sustainable technology services.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p>\r\n<p>This list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>Direct a distributed technical support model across all district sites, overseeing a tiered response to incident tickets, investigation and resolution of technical issues, and problems affecting operational and instructional computers, software, district systems, and classroom technology.</li>\r\n<li>Recruit, hire, train, and retain qualified technology support Distribute responsibilities aligned with staff capabilities, support ongoing professional development, and organize staff into effective technical teams.</li>\r\n<li>In collaboration with building principals and site administrators, establish performance standards and expectations for school-based technical staff, provide coaching and mentoring, and assist with or conduct performance evaluations.</li>\r\n<li>Direct the planning, procurement, deployment and imaging, repair, and lifecycle management of district devices and equipment, including district-wide device deployment and device management</li>\r\n<li>Manage assigned budgets, contracts, and service agreements for technology support operations.
