The Information Services team currently consists of 1 Data Engineer and the Director of Information Services.&nbsp; The Data Infrastructure Engineers are responsible to&nbsp; design, implement, and maintain a modern enterprise data infrastructure with a focus on data ingestion, processing, and delivery. This position is responsible for ensuring the data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and efficient. The Information Services Team will work closely with ITIS staff and a variety of data consumers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that enhance data accessibility, integrity, and usability to support data-driven decision making, improve student outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency.</span></p>\r\n<p><br /><br /></p>\r\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Design, architect, implement, manage, and continuously innovate a robust modern enterprise data infrastructure, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate system performance and drive improvements.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Develop and maintain scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines that populate the data infrastructure from various enterprise sources, leveraging proficiency with ETL cloud-based tools and platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Design and implement systems to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in compliance with district policies, educational regulations, and applicable state and federal laws, applying knowledge of data privacy and security best practices.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collaborate with the current Data Engineer and ITIS team members to share knowledge, coordinate development efforts, and continuously improve data infrastructure capabilities.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Partner with educational staff, administrators, and other data consumers to understand data needs and translate them into effective technical solutions, demonstrating the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences with patience and clarity.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participate in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes and operational efficiency, integrating BI tools and AI resources within the modern data warehouse environment as appropriate.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perform other duties as assigned.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Education & Experience</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field; and/or equivalent professional experience.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Demonstrated experience building or managing an enterprise data infrastructure; K&ndash;12 or higher education setting preferred.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Required Skills & Abilities</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proficiency with ETL cloud-based tools and experience with AWS (including AWS Glue), Azure, Google Cloud, and/or other cloud platforms.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience with databases and data warehousing concepts, and knowledge of best practices for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) resources in a modern data warehouse environment.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Programming and scripting skills, with working knowledge of BI tools and their integration with modern data architectures.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices and applicable compliance requirements.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple projects concurrently, and demonstrate creative problem-solving with a commitment to continuous learning.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Physical & Environmental Requirements</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Primarily office work environment; occasional lifting of equipment up to 25 pounds may be required with or without mechanical assistance.&nbsp;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Requires manual dexterity sufficient for extended keyboard and computer use;
