This role is responsible for understanding the unique needs of school and district users, advising on effective technology solutions, and translating those requirements into clear technical specifications. Additionally, the Technical Project Manager will leverage strong technical skills to streamline district workflows, automate processes, and conduct in-depth analysis of operational data to drive district-wide efficiency and student success.</span></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:</span></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong><em>Stakeholder Engagement & Needs Assessment</em></strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collaborate with end-users (principals, educators, administrative staff, and district leadership) to deeply understand their operational challenges, data needs, and strategic goals.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Advise stakeholders on potential technology solutions, system capabilities, and best practices within a K-12 environment.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lead requirements-gathering sessions, interviews, and workshops to clearly define and document business requirements.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong><em>Technical Liaison & Project Management</em></strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Translate non-technical user requirements into detailed, actionable technical specifications, user stories, and process maps for the Technology and Data & Accountability teams.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Act as the primary liaison during the development, testing, and implementation phases of new software, systems, or data dashboards to ensure the final product meets user expectations.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and the creation of training materials for new system rollouts.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong><em>Data Analysis & Operational Reporting</em></strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Query, extract, and analyze operational data from various district systems (e.g., Student Information Systems, ERP, HR/Finance systems) to support evidence-based decision-making.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Develop clear, accessible reports, dashboards and other data tools to highlight trends in operational efficiency, resource allocation, and user adoption.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensure data integrity and compliance with student privacy laws (FERPA, COPPA) across all proposed solutions and data extraction processes.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong><em>Workflow & Process Improvement</em></strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evaluate existing business and educational processes (e.g., student enrollment, staff onboarding, procurement, grading workflows) to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Design and implement process improvements using technical workflow automation tools, system integrations, or customized software configurations.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintain comprehensive documentation of district business processes, system architectures, and data flows.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Qualifications - Required:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a similar systems-focused role.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proficiency and/or expertise with statistical analysis software and programming languages such as STATA, R, SQL, etc.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience with workflow automation platforms and advanced spreadsheet functions (Excel/Google Sheets).</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exceptional \"translation\" skills: the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical educators and explain educational needs to technical developers.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong active listening and empathy to truly understand the pain points of school and district staff.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Current authorization to work in the United States</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An understanding of and commitment to gain greater understanding of what is necessary for an urban school system to enjoy continuous improvement in an increasingly complex and competitive environment.&nbsp;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A deeply held and unyielding belief in the overarching mission of public education.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Qualifications -
