Leads and collaborates with teachers, administrators, and community partners to craft and expand career and talent development pathways in curriculum, assessment, and instructional programs.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assists with leadership and administration of and oversees development and design of all programs;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Develops and executes strategies to recruit and sustain public-private partnerships (including grant opportunities);</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Represents the Division at appropriate community meetings to promote business partnerships, parental involvement and community involvement;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Develops and oversees the launch of initiatives that support the Division strategic plan; such initiatives include public-private partnerships, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) actions and other and local, state and federal funding initiatives;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Identifies and leverages non-traditional opportunities to engage community support across the curriculum;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Serve as the Division&rsquo;s liaison with community, higher education, and school partnerships;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Designs a monitoring system to track the completion and effectiveness of initiatives, and provides feedback to the Superintendent and School Board;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Serves as key point-person for partners for designated projects;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keeps abreast of regional and local developments that may supplement educational support, and determines their appropriateness for inclusion in the division educational program;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supports efforts to ensure that monitoring and evaluation of initiatives are done on time and to standard;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provides project leadership as needed for instructional initiatives;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Partners with administrators and teachers to create and cultivate division specialty programs to support student and staff development in 21st Century academic and work-related technology skills;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Catalyzes innovative projects while actively seeking support for these initiatives through external funding sources and budget requests;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creates, presents, and implements projects and improvements through data analysis and consultation with Division staff and leadership;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Studies, designs, and recommends systemic virtual learning programming in collaboration with Division staff and leadership, and with focus on quality assurance and quality control;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Continuously improves existing instructional programs and services through research based professional development, so as to address the learning needs of all students;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crafts, recommends, and implements policies and procedures necessary to effectively serve students and ensure Division compliance through State and local programs;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monitors success of implemented policies, procedures and programs;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leads the curricular focus of all secondary instructional programs (including CTE) to enhance instruction;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creates, presents, and implements professional development to create staff learning opportunities;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS/VTSS) for all students. Partners with the Director of Special Education and Student Services to ensure students with disabilities have equitable access to rigorous instruction, appropriate accommodations and modifications, specialized interventions, and instructional supports that maximize academic growth and achievement;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supervises the Technology Department by linking educational goals to technical operations;</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Works with the Director of Finance on the preparation, implementation, reporting and monitoring of Grants.
