The Executive Director&nbsp;collaborates with the Assistant Superintendent of&nbsp;Support Services&nbsp;to&nbsp;identify,&nbsp;create,&nbsp;and implement strategic plans,&nbsp;promote the effective and efficient use&nbsp;of technology across the district,&nbsp;and&nbsp;assist&nbsp;with&nbsp;overall&nbsp;operations of the Technology Division.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong><u>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p>\r\n<p><strong>Education and Certification Requirements</strong></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s&nbsp;in&nbsp;Computer Science, Information Technology, Educational&nbsp;Technology&nbsp;or related field, AND;</li>\r\n<li>Five (5) years or more applicable industry experience</li>\r\n<li>Five years of experience&nbsp;in the maintenance and support of multi-user computer systems.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Minimum of three (3) years of administrative/supervisory/management experience in education or related technology/business field</li>\r\n<li>Valid Texas Driver&rsquo;s License&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Candidate must have&nbsp;satisfactory&nbsp;outcome of fingerprinting background check. of&nbsp;Support Services&nbsp;on all departmental and division projects, strategic planning,&nbsp;budgeting&nbsp;and operations.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Facilitate communication and collaboration among assigned department personnel, district personnel,&nbsp;and campus administrators to enhance service delivery, program development,&nbsp;and customer satisfaction.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Promote&nbsp;collegiality, teamwork,&nbsp;and participatory decision-making among all District staff members.</li>\r\n<li>Ensure&nbsp;compliance with all&nbsp;federal, state,&nbsp;and District regulations.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Implement&nbsp;procedures for the effective&nbsp;utilization&nbsp;of assigned personnel.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Provide training and support to team job.&nbsp;</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Infrastructure</strong>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Manage the planning, implementation, configuration, reliability, uptime, security, maintenance, backup, and repair of district network, servers, and applications.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Manage and ensure the security, upkeep, performance, and reliability of both the wide-area network and local-area networks throughout District.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Oversee telecommunications for the district.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Coordinate compliance in collaboration with external eRate consultant(s) and internal eRate Grant manager.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Act as a liaison to all district personnel and the Assistant Superintendent of Support Services on matters concerning infrastructure and network services.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Meet regularly with appropriate stakeholders to coordinate projects, system architecture, systems updates, and system security.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Monitor district servers and applications and evaluate their effectiveness.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Interact with outside vendors/agencies/peer districts on a variety of subjects to stay informed on issues, technologies, and strategies to improve services.</li>\r\n<li>Prepare and present oral/written information to internal and external stakeholders.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Assist&nbsp;with the development and implementation of the District&rsquo;s Technology Plan to enhance and support instruction.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Oversee, prioritize, and manage work orders.</li>\r\n<li>Meet regularly with department personnel and ensure open lines of communication are in place to ensure&nbsp;department&nbsp;is well informed at all times of changes and newsworthy events.</li>\r\n<li>Monitor systems and network status and effectively and&nbsp;timely&nbsp;communicate and coordinate troubleshooting and service restoration initiatives.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Plan, organize, and implement all&nbsp;activity&nbsp;related to the maintenance and repair of the district computer systems.&nbsp;</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Cybersecurity</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Provides the direction for District&rsquo;s data and cybersecurity protection and oversee Technology governance and policies.</li>\r\n<li>Develops District security strategy, security awareness programs, security architecture, and security incident response.</li>\r\n<li>Provides&nbsp;strategic risk guidance for IT projects, including evaluation and recommendation of technical controls.</li>\r\n<li>Educates IT and District leaders on&nbsp;appropriate security&nbsp;risk and mitigation strategies.</li>\r\n<li>Coordinates with the Assistant Superintendent of&nbsp;Support Services&nbsp;for the completion of both internal and external audits to ensure security programs are in compliance with relevant laws,&nbsp;regulations&nbsp;and policies.</li>\r\n<li>Develops,&nbsp;maintains, and publishes up-to-date security policies, standards, and guidelines.</li>\r\n<li>Oversees training and dissemination of security policies and practices.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Evaluates new cybersecurity threats and IT trends and develops effective security controls.&nbsp;Oversees&nbsp;development&nbsp;of security awareness programs.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Develops and oversees effective disaster recovery policies and standards to align with company business continuity management program goals.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Coordinates development of implementation plans and procedures to ensure business critical services are recovered&nbsp;in the event of&nbsp;disasters or other incidents, and provides direction, support, and in-house consulting in these areas.</li>\r\n<li>Evaluates potential security breaches, coordinates&nbsp;response, and&nbsp;recommend&nbsp;corrective actions.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Act as a liaison to Judson Police Department and Technology Department in matters concerning student safety and Police investigations into digital documentation.&nbsp;</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Data Services</strong>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Focus&nbsp;the operation of the&nbsp;district&nbsp;financial&nbsp;and student&nbsp;systems&nbsp;toward the accomplishment of the&nbsp;district&nbsp;goals and&nbsp;objectives.</li>\r\n<li>Recommends&nbsp;changes in data collection, workflows,&nbsp;and system integration to ensure data quality and improve business processes.</li>\r\n<li>Provides leadership and consultant services to district staff in the development of strategic plans for the extension of the finance and student computer system in the district.</li>\r\n<li>Transforms raw data into meaningful and engaging reports for teachers, administrators, and the community.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Desktop</strong>&nbsp;<strong>Services</strong>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Provide direct support for the Director of Desktop Services.</li>\r\n<li>Evaluate&nbsp;the&nbsp;district's use&nbsp;of computers&nbsp;and&nbsp;recommends&nbsp;alterations and/or&nbsp;expansion as necessary&nbsp;to support students, campuses,&nbsp;administration,&nbsp;and district personnel.</li>\r\n<li>Coordinate, design, and&nbsp;facilitate&nbsp;training to&nbsp;District staff&nbsp;as necessary to support departmental goals.</li>\r\n<li>Provide leadership and management oversight of district inventory, maintenance/repair of inventory,&nbsp;and warehouse operations.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Instructional Technology</strong>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Provides leadership and consultant services to district staff in the development of strategic plans for the instructional programs related to Instructional Technology and Campus Technology Systems.</li>\r\n<li>Provide training and support to team members to advance the instructional programs related to technology within the district.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Coordinate, design, and&nbsp;facilitate&nbsp;training to&nbsp;District staff&nbsp;as necessary to support departmental
