{"success":true,"message":"","validationErrors":[],"value":{"jobInfo":{"jobId":5821442,"jobTitle":"Digital Animation & Game Programming CTES","infoURL":"https://kentisd.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=441","externalJobCode":"441","applicationDeadline":"2026-08-01T03:59:00","displayDate":"2026-07-08T04:00:00","internalDisplayDate":"2026-07-08T04:00:00","postDate":"2026-07-08T12:27:29","startDateShowDay":1,"startDate":null,"jobStatusID":50,"unionID":0,"unionName":null,"jobDescription":"<p><strong>Digital Animation & Game Programming CTES</strong></p>\r\n<p>Kent ISD KCTC&nbsp;East&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>Union - KIEA CTE Specialist</p>\r\n<p>7 Hours Daily (FT) / 182 Days (Full School Year)&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Summary:</strong> To assist in providing a well-organized and smoothly functioning classroom environment that reflects the Digital Animation & Game Programming industry, allowing students to fully benefit from the instructional program and available resources.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Job Qualifications:</strong></p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Must have graduated from high school (Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred).</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Minimum of two (2) years (4,000 hours) of recent and relevant work experience in digital&nbsp;</span>animation, game design, graphic communications, or related field.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff,&nbsp;</span>parents, and industry partners.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Experience working with a team to collect, interpret, and use data to inform instructional&nbsp;</span>decisions.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Demonstrated ability to work with culturally diverse student populations, including&nbsp;</span>economically disadvantaged, special education, and English Learner students.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ability to organize, prioritize, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ability to be flexible and demonstrate initiative and self-direction.</span></li>\r\n</ol>\r\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Specific Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Assist in providing specialized instruction in Digital Animation, Game Programming, and&nbsp;</span>related CTE content areas.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Support students on a one-to-one or small group basis as directed by the lead instructor.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Use remedial and tutorial strategies to support student learning and skill development.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Assist in maintaining a safe, structured, and effective learning environment in classroom,&nbsp;</span>lab, and field settings.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Support proper and safe use of digital tools, software, and equipment used in the&nbsp;</span>program.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Assist in setup, operation, and maintenance of instructional technology and lab&nbsp;</span>equipment.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Provide accommodations and supplementary supports for at-risk students, including&nbsp;</span>assistance with assignments, note taking, and study guides aligned to IEPs and 504 Plans.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Support implementation of Student Success Plans, including curricular supports and&nbsp;</span>assistive technology.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Collect and share student progress data with the Student Services team following MTSS&nbsp;</span>and Special Education review cycles.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Assist with coordinating student visits, program tours, and internship experiences.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Perform other duties as assigned by the Administration.</span></li>\r\n</ol>\r\n<p><em>The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this position.
