effective and efficient student transportation.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Create and maintain safe, reliable and efficient bus routes for all eligible students.</li>\r\n<li>Assure that drivers, aides and dispatch have the latest copies of routes as there are weekly changes, directions, times, new students, removals, etc.</li>\r\n<li>Assign buses, safe bus stops, and bus routes for student transportation according to accommodations.</li>\r\n<li>Maintain and inventory equipment including: safety vests, car seats, and WC equipment.</li>\r\n<li>Review, process, and file transportation requests.</li>\r\n<li>Interact with the public on transportation issues.</li>\r\n<li>Track transportation bench marks.</li>\r\n<li>Evaluate and make recommendations for systems for bus routing and student systems.</li>\r\n<li>Maintain systems and database integration across the district.</li>\r\n<li>Communicate clearly and concisely with faculty, staff, municipalities, administration, and community.</li>\r\n<li>Coordinate and maintain Out of District school&rsquo;s routes, assignments and calendars.</li>\r\n<li>Collect and assimilate data for monthly reports.</li>\r\n<li>Keep track of student numbers and avoid overloads on RED or wrong accommodations on Special Ed.</li>\r\n<li>Maintain routes, maps, boundaries, and the student database.</li>\r\n<li>Remain current in existing and emerging technology and software.</li>\r\n<li>Works with Dispatcher to coordinate work assignments for substitute drivers and bus aides.</li>\r\n<li>Maintains daily communication with bus drivers and other departments.</li>\r\n<li>Drives a school bus in an emergency situation.</li>\r\n<li>Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.</li>\r\n<li>Establish and maintain good rapport with employees, students and community.</li>\r\n<li>Other job related duties as assigned.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>EDUCATION: </strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>High school diploma or G.E.D.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Experience with Versatrans bus routing software or other bus routing computer applications preferred.</li>\r\n<li>Willingness and ability to acquire new and advanced skills necessary for implementing advances in information/computer technology.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR card.</li>\r\n<li>Obtain and maintain a valid&nbsp;Arizona Class B License with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements.</li>\r\n<li>Obtain and maintain&nbsp;a DOT <span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\">Medical Examiner's Certificate.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\">Obtain and Maintain DPS School Bus Driver Certificate.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"background-color:
