Work involves technical support and expertise concerning various types of technology-related hardware and software. Work also involves training for employees in the use of technology. This position must be able to use an online support ticket system to communicate, track, and document their tasks. They must be professional and work closely with co-workers, school administrators, and supervisors.&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/TRAINING</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minimum of 2-year college degree or graduation from a technical school preferred.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minimum two years of experience operating an Apple OSX/iOS and/or PC computer hardware and software, including operating systems and common applications.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minimum one year of experience and/or equivalent training operating computers and software in a networked environment.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Understands FERPA, COPPA, and CIPA Compliance.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must possess a personal vehicle for use during work hours.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Installs district-approved hardware, software, peripherals, and other related technology tools.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Troubleshoots and repairs approved technology in the schools and district facilities.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintains accurate reporting of work performed using the district-approved ticket tracking system.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trains users on the use of technology.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Installs and sets up educational and administrative software for users.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Distributes and coordinates the rollout of student and staff devices within the schools.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinates the collection and upgrades to student and staff devices at the end of each school year.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All other duties as assigned by the Director of Instructional Technology or the Technology Project Manager</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Working knowledge of computer hardware and common software applications</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Working knowledge of common computer and device operating systems</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">General knowledge of networking concepts</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Critical thinking and problem-solving skills</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to interpret and convey technical information to a non-technical audience</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to manage multiple priorities</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment, and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Possess an operating knowledge of network test and diagnostic equipment.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to systematically determine the source of technology-related problems and take appropriate actions</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to maintain complete and accurate records</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitated by work assignments.
