The Cybersecurity Engineer is expected to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving abilities, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and consistently meet tight deadlines.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>To be successful in this role, the Cybersecurity Engineer must possess a strong understanding of technology infrastructures, including firewalls, VPNs, data loss prevention (DLP), intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), web proxies, and security auditing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a wide range of technologies, addressing complex security challenges, and troubleshooting network and security-related issues.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Qualification Requirements</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field is preferred.</li>\r\n<li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in incident detection, incident response, and digital forensics.</li>\r\n<li>Experience administering and securing Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Google Workspace environments.</li>\r\n<li>Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR), security operations, and threat monitoring platforms such as CrowdStrike, Arctic Wolf, or similar solutions.</li>\r\n<li>Experience supporting enterprise wireless and wired networking environments, including Aruba networking solutions.</li>\r\n<li>Experience supporting technology in a K&ndash;12 educational environment, including one-to-one device initiatives and educational technology platforms, is preferred.</li>\r\n<li>Experience with firewalls (configuration, administration, and maintenance), Microsoft 365 Security, VSX, and endpoint security solutions.</li>\r\n<li>Proficiency with Powershell.</li>\r\n<li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.</li>\r\n<li>Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\r\n<li>Current knowledge of cybersecurity trends, threats, and attack techniques.</li>\r\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience supporting enterprise IT systems and services.</li>\r\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with users of varying technical abilities.</li>\r\n<li>Excellent customer service skills and a positive, service-oriented attitude.</li>\r\n<li>Experience supporting technology in a K&ndash;12 educational environment is preferred.</li>\r\n<li>Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and work evenings or weekends as needed.</li>\r\n<li>Experienced in making data-driven decisions.</li>\r\n<li>Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating resources and personnel to meet deadlines.</li>\r\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, processes, and best practices, including incident detection and response processes as well as software updating and lifecycle management.</li>\r\n<li>Advanced knowledge of security processes within Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.</li>\r\n<li>Experience administering endpoint protection, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and managed detection and response (MDR) platforms such as CrowdStrike and Arctic Wolf.</li>\r\n<li>Advanced knowledge of computers and related technology devices.</li>\r\n<li>Advanced knowledge of networking technologies.</li>\r\n<li>Advanced knowledge of IP-based troubleshooting and administration of both wired and wireless networks.
