This position reports to the Director of Technology Services.</span></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide technical support to end-users.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff in schools and departments.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Install and configure computers, printers and mobile devices on the District&rsquo;s LAN.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Install software on workstations including stand-alone applications and server-based client&nbsp;</span>applications.</li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perform hardware upgrades related to client computers and district printers/copiers.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain computers, printers/copiers, and mobile&nbsp;</span>devices (laptops, Chromebooks, etc.)</li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Operate within an online work order system to consistently record, log, and resolve&nbsp;</span>technical issues.</li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Track repair parts to complete work orders.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Install network cable terminations & connectors and trouble- shoot networking cabling&nbsp;</span>system.</li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Install network wireless access points and switches on the Districts&rsquo; LAN.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintain tracking of network protocols including IP and MAC addresses.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist in asset tracking and inventory maintenance.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintain student and staff confidentiality.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide district computer users with support/recommendations and instruction as&nbsp;</span>necessary.</li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perform related duties as assigned by the Director of Technology Services.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must be 18 or older.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vendor certifications preferred (e.g. CISCO, Comp TIA A+, Network+, HP Service, Apple&nbsp;</span>Service, etc.).</li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two years' experience providing technical support services preferred.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Extensive knowledge and understanding of PC and Apple computer hardware and&nbsp;</span>peripheral devices as related to their setup, operation, and maintenance.</li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience in supporting technology running on wide area networks.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Expertise in client systems running Windows 11, macOS, iPad OS, tv OS and Chrome OS.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Expertise in supporting networking protocols including both wired and wireless.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects, and resolve problems.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintain a positive, supportive and willing attitude while working with staff.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Possess a valid Washington State Driver's License.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Multi-task and work independently</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Handle complaints with patience and efficiency</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Build professional relationships, solve problems, and plan collaboratively</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analyze and solve problems</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure and&nbsp;</span>to meet deadlines</li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Possess excellent writing and communication skills</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Project a positive and professional image</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintain proficiency with Windows, Macintosh and Chrome platforms</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong><em>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.&nbsp;</em><em>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;</em></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>A person working in this position will exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally while carrying, pushing, and/or pulling to move objects.
