color: rgba(255, 0, 0, 1);\"><em>Shift time is subject to building needs.</em>&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p align=\"left\">&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>SUMMARY:</strong></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under the direction of the Technology Director, this position provides level 1 technical systems support to district end users, including the installation, maintenance, and problem detection/resolution of hardware and software technology assets.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide technical support via telephone, onsite, and electronic (email, remote/virtual) help desk support to district employees, students, and others as needed.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Install, configure, diagnose, repair, service and maintain desktop computer systems and peripherals for multiple hardware platforms (PC and MAC), including both hardware and software related issues.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide basic network connectivity support for Local Area Network (LAN) equipment.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Install, configure, and diagnose district printers (local and network).</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintain inventory system of district technology assets based on building assignments, including physical inventory verification as assigned by the Technology Director.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sort, inventory, and store production and surplus technology equipment based on district policy.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Escalate higher level support issues to Level II and III Support Specialists for resolution.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Document all support related issues via help desk ticketing system for tracking and record keeping purposes.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attend district and department level meetings, including required training sessions.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other duties as assigned by the Technology Director.</span></li>\r\n</ol>\r\n<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Associates degree in related technology field and or at least two (2) years&rsquo; work experience; high school diploma or equivalent required.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowledge of PC troubleshooting and repair for both Windows and Macintosh platforms.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Basic understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, and local area network operations.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Associate level, industry certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, and/or Cisco desired.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to read and apply technical service-related information from various sources.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Possess aptitude to carry out oral and written directions from Technology Director and/or assigned technical lead.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adjust to new assignments and variety of working conditions, including effective task prioritization and independent task completion.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proven ability to relate with staff, coworkers, and other end users regarding computer technology.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prioritize and assign work orders/tickets/tasks, resolve problems and anticipate tasks to be completed with minimum supervision and guidance.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to meet deadlines during extremely critical times.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must possess a valid Washington State driver&rsquo;s license and a good driving record.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must furnish one&rsquo;s own transportation.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must have excellent attendance.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must be committed to on-going training for the maintenance of technical skills expected.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other duties as assigned.</span></li>\r\n</ol>\r\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Occasionally: sit, lift and/or carry up to 65 lbs.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Frequently: lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs;
