current computer platforms and operating systems</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Practical knowledge of LAN and WAN design and management in order to implement efficient bandwidth usage and reliability</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Understanding of network security systems</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Degree or equivalent training in computer hardware repair</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with other staff</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowledge of Google Apps for Responsibilities:</span></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide hardware and software support to all users.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintain a record of current inventory and repair history.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perform routine maintenance of all district technology equipment.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Troubleshoot networking issues on wired and wireless networks.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist technology director with the creation and editing of policies to manage network.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perform evaluation and installation of new software as needed in coordination with Technology Director</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinate the assembly and distribution of new equipment.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintain network security and protection systems</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinate with vendors to facilitate repairs of equipment</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Foster positive relationships with staff and patrons.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Complete necessary documentation to recover costs related to repairs through Specialty Underwriters</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist the technology director with planning of hardware, software and purchased services as requested.</span></li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:</span>&nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wages and work year to be determined by the Superintendent and the Board of
