/></div>\r\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><u>Summary</u></strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">: The Technology Security Specialist is an entry-level position designed for an individual who has strong technology troubleshooting skills and an interest in developing expertise in cybersecurity, data privacy, and physical security technology.</span></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></span>&nbsp;<em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other duties may be assigned.</span></em></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Physical Security Systems:</strong></li>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Assist with the administration and maintenance of video surveillance servers and related infrastructure.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Learn to administer and maintain the district's electronic access control system, including system configuration, user access, and system operation.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting integrations between video surveillance, electronic access control, and other district security systems.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Support the district's crisis alert and incident response systems, including troubleshooting, testing, and ongoing maintenance.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Assist with troubleshooting physical security hardware, software, servers, network connectivity, and system integrations.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Work collaboratively with Technology, Facilities, administrators, and district safety personnel to support the effective operation of physical security systems.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Data Privacy and Cybersecurity:</strong></li>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Assist with reviewing reported phishing emails, suspicious messages, and other potential cybersecurity threats as needed.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Assist with documenting and continually improving security practices and protocols.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Assist in maintaining compliance with data privacy laws and regulations, ensuring student and staff data confidentiality.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training, including phishing detection, password safety, data sharing, and other cybersecurity best practices.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate, respond to, and mitigate cybersecurity incidents and potential security threats.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Assist with researching and implementing compliant software solutions and data governance processes.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Develop knowledge of cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats through training, professional development, and trusted cybersecurity resources.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Working knowledge of computers, operating systems, software, and common technology concepts.</li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, software, or other technology-related issues.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Strong interest in learning about cybersecurity, data privacy, and physical security technology.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and technical concepts.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate issues and work toward solutions.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ability to follow technical procedures and accurately document work.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Effective written and verbal communication skills.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ability to work collaboratively and learn from experienced Technology Department staff.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment when working with sensitive information and security systems.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Commitment to continued learning and professional growth.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Education, coursework, technical training, certifications, or experience related to information technology, computer systems, networking, cybersecurity, or a related field.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity, data privacy,
