Employment with Region 6 ESC is considered to be at-will employment and may be terminated by Region 6 ESC at any time due to a reduction in funds, non-renewal of grant funding, other financial contingency, or any other legal reason.</p>\r\n<p><strong>Education and Certifications:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>High School graduate or equivalent&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>General certifications in these areas are preferred; Network, Server Admin/Systems Admin</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>High level of expertise in computer networking required; multi-platform and systems experience preferred</li>\r\n<li>High degree of professionalism including strong public relation skills</li>\r\n<li>Ability to establish rapport and work in collaboration with public schools and ESC personnel</li>\r\n<li>Ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision</li>\r\n<li>Ability to prioritize workload to most efficiently and effectively complete required work in a timely manner</li>\r\n<li>Ability to use technology effectively</li>\r\n<li>Willingness to travel&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>One to two years&rsquo; experience in networking, servers and computer/peripheral repair is needed&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Major Responsibilities and Duties:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Provide remote network support to contracted districts</li>\r\n<li>Maintain and provide support for PDC equipment and sessions as a back up</li>\r\n<li>Support ESC and district servers</li>\r\n<li>Provide support on ESC and districts networks</li>\r\n<li>Consult with districts assessing computer hardware and software needs</li>\r\n<li>Assist in troubleshooting, monitoring, and setup of equipment</li>\r\n<li>Provide support for in-house phone system</li>\r\n<li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair technology equipment</li>\r\n<li>Perform hardware and software upgrades</li>\r\n<li>Frequent Region-wide travel</li>\r\n<li>Install network wiring and equipment</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Develop and maintain policy and procedures related to PII access and security</li>\r\n<li>Assist in reviewing and approving all requests for access to PII</li>\r\n<li>Monitor and log all access to PII, and investigate any unauthorized access or security breaches</li>\r\n<li>Work closely with other teams within the organization with PII security regulations and standards</li>\r\n<li>Conduct regular security audits to ensure that all access to PII is in compliance with company policies and industry regulations</li>\r\n<li>Maintain up to date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in PII security</li>\r\n<li>Work proficiently with Apple Business Manager, Google workspace, Microsoft365, and Active Directory</li>\r\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>None</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Equipment used: </strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Standard office equipment, including personal computers and peripherals.&nbsp;
