{"success":true,"message":"","validationErrors":[],"value":{"jobInfo":{"jobId":5951649,"jobTitle":"Support Specialist Career and Technical Education","infoURL":"https://dysart.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=16164","externalJobCode":"16164","applicationDeadline":null,"displayDate":"2026-10-06T06:00:00","internalDisplayDate":"2026-10-06T06:00:00","postDate":"2026-10-06T15:07:11","startDateShowDay":1,"startDate":null,"jobStatusID":30,"unionID":0,"unionName":null,"jobDescription":"<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><strong>TITLE: Support Specialist Career and Technical Education</strong></p>\r\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><strong>REPORTS TO: Career and Technical Education Director</strong></p>\r\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><strong>FLSA: Non-exempt</strong></p>\r\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><strong>GRADE: S</strong></p>\r\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><strong>WORK CALENDAR: Based on the Needs of the Department</strong></p>\r\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><strong>FTE: 1.0</strong></p>\r\n<p><strong>REVISED DATE: 8/26/2011</strong></p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>SUMMARY</strong>: To support the Career and Technical Education ( CTE) program and gather data to review the results of the program.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>Assist in the implementation of student information systems.</li>\r\n<li>Conduct follow-up placement survey on all graduates that completed a CTE program.</li>\r\n<li>Translate detailed program specifications into appropriate computer language code.</li>\r\n<li>Coordinate installation and maintenance of programming projects with appropriate user and staff personnel.</li>\r\n<li>Report status and progress of assigned tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.</li>\r\n<li>Work on multiple platforms, in multiple programming languages, with understanding of network operation.</li>\r\n<li>Work with multiple departments and schools within the district.</li>\r\n<li>Provide documentation and training to users and staff as directed.</li>\r\n<li>Visit CTE programs at each High School campus to conduct tracking of all CTE inventory and maintain the Dysart Unified School District CTE Inventory database.</li>\r\n<li>Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.</li>\r\n<li>Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.</li>\r\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\r\n</ol>\r\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:</strong></p>\r\n<p><br />To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\r\n<p><br /><strong>Education:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>High school diploma or G.E.D.</li>\r\n<li>BA/BS degree in computer services or related field or certificate of completion of technical training in programming preferred.</li>\r\n<li>Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (<strong>IVP</strong>) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Demonstrated experience in working with and supporting student information systems in an Arizona school district setting.</li>\r\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of job acquired knowledge.</li>\r\n<li>Familiar with business processes involved with Infinite Campus - SIS and information systems and general information technology procedures.</li>\r\n<li>Knowledge of student information systems Infinite Campus - SIS</li>\r\n<li>Ability to work independently.</li>\r\n<li>Excellent organization skills.</li>\r\n<li>Knowledge of Infinite Campus - SIS and Vocational Education preferred.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Computer Skills:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Demonstrated competency in computer literacy, Excel and Word</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Communication Skills:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Ability to read and interpret general documents such as employee handbooks and safety/training manuals.</li>\r\n<li>Ability to write general correspondence and speak effectively with others.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Math Ability:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Reasoning Ability:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Ability to interpret assortment of instructions furnished in variable forms.</li>\r\n<li>Ability to apply reason to research and solve moderately complex issues with little or no assistance.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Other Requirements:</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>The employee may be required to conduct surveys in the evening.
